South Orogrande Property

Highlights

  • Large land position covering a productive portion of the Orogrande Shear Zone.
  • Project less then 1km from Endomines AB’s Friday gold oxide deposit which hosts Measured + Indicated 20 MT @ 1.0 g/t Au, Inferred 21 MT @ 0.88 g/t (1.2 Moz Au total).1
  • Endomines AB recently announced the successful commissioning of their newly constructed Orogrande Processing Facility, which is expected to reach design capacity during the month of April, 2020.5
  • Project Hosts multiple kilometer-scale, cohesive gold in soil anomalies (2 x 4 km and 1.5 x 3 km) with coincident aeromagnetic, induced polarization, and DIGHEM geophysical anomalies in areas of minimal outcrop and widespread placer gold occurrences.2
  • Rock Chips 0 to 14.8 g/t Au, (N=15, avg. 1.5 g/t Au), coincident with soil anomaly.
  • EMX located five closely-spaced, less than 100 meter deep holes from the mid-1980s that were drilled within a small portion of one of the soil anomalies, with no record of any additional drilling across the Project area.

Project Details

  • Location: 22 km SW of Elk City, Idaho.
  • Access: Paved and gravel roads from Elk City.
  • Claims: 27.8km2. USFS unpatented lode claims.
  • Ownership: Option to earn 100%.
  • Infrastructure: Low power costs. Rail line 60 Km NW. 34 KV Transmission line onsite.
  • Permitting: USFS directive to permit early-stage drilling in under one year.

Vectors to Discovery

  • Soil Anomaly #1: 1 x 3.5 km historic soil anomaly.
  • Soil Anomaly #2: 2 x 4 km historic soil anomaly.
  • Regional shear structures associated with gold mineralization.
  • Multiple lode and placer gold occurrences on property.
  • Minimal outcrop (<5%): opportunity to discover overlooked mineralization.
  • Elk City District: 1 Moz historic gold production.3 Mines in active construction.

Geology

  • Host rocks: Cretaceous granodiorite, Mesoproterozoic biotite gneiss and minor schist; all excellent sources of iron for sulfidation and disseminated mineralization. Mineralized Eocene hypabyssal porphyritic dike swarms.
  • Structure: Within major mineralized zone of regionally important Orogrande shear zone.
  • Alteration: coarse muscovite alteration of metamorphic biotite, fine muscovite (sericite) alteration of feldspar, milky quartz goethite-jarosite-hematite veins, likely after quartz-pyrite ± arsenopyrite.
  • Geochemistry: Strong Au-Ag-As-Sb correlation in soils and rock chips.
  • Geophysics: Historic DIGHEM airborne electromagnetic and gradient-array induced polarization (IP) surveys identified conductive and chargeable zones for follow up.

Targets

  1. . Potential for large Au Bulk Tonnage oxide and/or sulfide gold deposit:
    • Nearby Friday deposit with Measured + Indicated 20 MT @ 1 g/t Au, Inferred 21 MT @ 0.88 g/t (1.2 Moz Au total).1
    • Disseminated mineralization in outcrop.
    • Undrilled soil anomalies, 2 x 4 km and 1.5 x 3 km.
    • Anomalous gold in rock chip, and placer gold in streams, over 10 Km.
    • Coincident DIGHEM conductivity and IP chargeability anomalies.
  1. Potential for Au in Orogenic Au-Quartz veins:
    • Historic drill intercepts near border with Endomines AB of 6.4m @ 5.5 g/t Au (true thickness unknown).4
    • Historic occurrences of gold-quartz veins mined underground throughout property position.3
